At Workday, we’re passionate about closing the opportunity gap for under-resourced communities, and we’re proud to be partnering with two incredible organizations that share this mission—Eat. Learn. Play. and Year Up.
As part of the Workday Charity Open, we’re asking people to join the cause by taking part in our Close the Gap Challenge. You have the chance to win some unforgettable sports experiences, and 100 percent of your contribution will go directly to supporting the work of Eat. Learn. Play. and Year Up.

Experiences associated with an annual event are meant to be completed during the next occurrence of that annual event. Other experiences are intended to be completed by December 15, 2021. Specific scheduling will be based upon mutual agreement of the winning bidder and the provider of the experience. Given the schedules of the participants, it may take a full year to find a mutually convenient time. All parties will make good-faith efforts to accommodate schedules and availability. If the experience is associated with an annual event that does take place but does not allow spectators or Pro-Am participants, the experience will be rescheduled for the following year.
All auction winners and guests that wish to participate in the hosted auction experience will be subject to an OFAC or Clear background check prior to the experience.
Upon conclusion of the auction, the winning bidder of each item will receive instructions and a specific point of contact to schedule experiences directly from a Workday representative.
Each experience has unique benefits.
For golf experiences you should expect to spend up to six hours with your experience host. For meet and greet experiences, you should expect to spend 5-10 minutes with your experience host.
The number of participants that get to attend each auction experience is detailed in each experience’s description. Additional attendees will not be permitted—even to view or observe—unless stated otherwise in the description.
The final bid amount you pay above fair market value may be tax-deductible as a charitable contribution. You should consult your tax adviser to determine the appropriate tax treatment.
No. Auction experiences are unique, once-in-a-lifetime opportunities that are non-transferable and non-refundable. If an experience is not used within the stated window, the experience will be considered forfeited and the charitable donation will not be refunded. Please review the Auction Rules section for more information.
Winning bidders must be 21 years of age or older.
